Where we are
Kootenay Park Lodge is located on Highway 93 at Vermillion Crossing in the centre of spectacular, unspoiled Kootenay National Park.
Well known to cyclists as the heart of the "Golden Triangle", Kootenay Park Lodge is a convenient 45 minute drive to Banff, Lake Louise or Radium Hot Springs, and 2 hours from Calgary, Alberta.
About the only place to eat in Kootenay Park (seriously) is the Kootenay Park Lodge at Vermilion Crossing. Among the new development here, the lodge remains a rustic, cavernous log building wrapped around a huge fireplace. The food is excellent, constructed with care by the fastidious owners. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is restful. A great pit stop on the way to Radium or Invermere.
